KADARKÚT-NAGYBAJOM RESEARCH

The key objective of this 2014 research in the Kadarkút-Nagybajom Micro Region, (SW-Hungary) was to identify and map the agro-ecological and human resources in a LFA (Less Favored Area), with typically small villages, lacking an effective economic focus point.

The research was carried out in cooperation with Agri Kulti and the ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Human Ecology, within the framework of the Sustainable Rural Development course. The study provided a basic overview as well as a series of detailed x-ray shots about the present social and economic situation of the Kadarkút-Nagybajom Micro Region with special attention on local resources that could be starting points of any sustainable rural development.
